Taylar I 2013

I love getting to know my clients! When I met Taylar I just knew we'd have a lot of fun with her photo session.  She is creative and thoughtful and this really showed when we talked about how to personalize her session.  Taylar chose to use the childhood lake home that she'd moved away from when she was 14.  It was perfect because was more meaningful than a random location.  She showed me where she'd played, climbed rocks and spent her growing up years.  Her mom also came by for a few photos with her dog!  (Isn't he adorable?!)  Because Taylar loves listening to music we used headphones to add a "current trends" element into her portfolio as well.  I also thought it touching that Taylar dedicated part of her photo session to her Grandma Judy who passed away by incorporating a yellow rose.

One thing I learned about Taylar is that she has a contagious smile.  When she'd smile for the camera I'd find myself smiling back at her!  I loved her expressions and how comfortable she was.

Taylor likes to listen to music, read, write and relax.  She is involved in (take a deep breath here): swimming, dance, band (Concert, Pep, and Jazz), Student Council, National Honor Society, Knowledge Bowl and Phi Theta Kappa.  Her accomplishments include many lettering awards, principal's and frequently making the dean's list.

Here are a few of my favorite photographs from our evening together.  (I'm thinking the last photo might have made it into my "all-time favorites" list.)  I hope you enjoy your Senior year to the fullest, Taylar. You're a thoughtful, sweet, smart and creative girl.  There is much about you to admire!

I LOVED these photos...so pretty/beautiful/art! I love the one where she is with the open book and feet in the air and of course the last photo needs to be painted by Cherie. I also love Pam how you write your blog so thoughtfully and personally about each person. You are a good writer too. I love Pam.
